Tripta Sharma became the first senior citizen of Uttarakhand to get Ayushman Vay Vandana Card
On the occasion of 9th Ayurveda Day, a program was organized at All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi on 29 October. Where Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated health infrastructure projects and launched various health programs. During this program, PM Narendra Modi gave a big gift to the state of Uttarakhand and inaugurated the air ambulance at AIIMS Rishikesh. Also, the Ayushman scheme was expanded to provide free treatment to all senior citizens through Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card. In which PM has handed over Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card to Tripta Sharma, a resident of Dehradun.
The Government of India has expanded the Ayushman scheme and launched Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card to provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh annually to all senior citizens above 70 years of age in the country. Through which all senior citizens will get free treatment in the hospital. In such a situation, during the program organized in Delhi, Tripta Sharma, a resident of Dehradun, was honored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi by giving Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card.
In fact, Tripta Sharma has become the first senior citizen of Uttarakhand to have the first Ayushman Vay Vandana card made in the state. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself handed over the card to her.
Tripta Sharma, while talking to ETV Bharat, said that after a certain age, especially after 60 years, the cost of medicines increases a lot. But with this scheme started by the Government of India, now the elderly will not have to depend on their children for medicines and treatment. Rather, through this card, they will be able to get the benefit of better and free health facilities.
Tripta Sharma told that her son had registered her and her husband on the National Health Authority portal. After this, she got information about the insurance card and got the information about handing over the insurance card by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, Tripta Sharma is very happy to get the insurance card from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
