Almora police has taken major action against the gamblers. Police raided a shop in the early hours of Sunday morning. From where the police have arrested dozens of gamblers.
Police attack against gamblers
At around 1 am on Sunday morning, Almora police raided the verandah of a shop in Naugaon Jamradi. Where the police have arrested a dozen gamblers playing gambling. The police have recovered more than one lakh rupees and two cards from the gambling phad.
Police will take strict action against gambling: SSP
The police have registered a case against the accused under the Gambling Act. Almora’s SSP Devendra Pincha said that the Almora police will take strong action against those who gamble and betting in public places.
