Gujarat: Police arrested 6 people for stealing a pregnant cow and eating its meat

A case that shames humanity has come to light from Bharuch, Gujarat. Here 6 people have been arrested for allegedly stealing a pregnant cow, slaughtering it and eating its meat.
The incident happened on October 31
According to the information, the incident happened on October 31 when the cow’s owner Kamlesh Ahir tied it to a tree near his house in Eksal village. This was because it was unable to walk. However, on the same evening, Kamlesh came to know that his cow was missing, then he lodged a complaint with the local police.
In the complaint, Kamlesh told that he and his father were searching for the cow, when they got the information that the neighbor had taken the cow. When they went to the village, they found the remains of the cow, which they handed over to the police for investigation.
The accused have a history of theft
Kamlesh identified the suspects involved in the incident as Sarfaraz Mansoori, Wasim Mansoori, Mubarak Mansoori, Soheb Mansoori and Rizwan Mansoori of the neighboring village. He also alleged that a person named Ajay Rathod helped the accused in taking away the cow. After the complaint, the local police arrested all the six accused. It is being told that the accused have a history of theft and the motive behind this incident was to kill the cow and eat its meat.

The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections of the Indian Justice Code, Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Gujarat Animal Protection Act. The investigation of the case is going on.
