The doors of the Tungnath temple, the third Kedar among the Panch Kedars, were closed for the winter season on Monday with due rituals. On Tuesday, Baba’s festival palanquin reached Bhankun from Chopta.

The festival palanquin of Lord Tungnath reached Bhankun from Chopta on Monday. The festival palanquin will stay in Bhankun tonight and tomorrow i.e. on 6 November as well.

On 7 November, the Panchmukhi festival palanquin will reach the winter seat Marketeshwar temple Ukhimath. With this, the winter pujas will begin in Marketeshwar temple Makkumath.

Let us tell you that the doors of the Tungnath temple were closed for the winter season on Monday afternoon, 4 November. After which the festival palanquin of Tungnath stayed in Chopta yesterday.
