Uttarakhand in mourning due to Almora accident, State Foundation Day will be celebrated peacefully, there will be no colourful programs

The entire state is in mourning after the death of 36 people in the Almora bus accident. At the same time, 27 people injured in this accident are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of the state, out of which the condition of some remains critical. At the same time, after this accident, the Dhami government has decided that the programs like cultural programs and inauguration of schemes to be held on Uttarakhand State Foundation Day have been postponed for the time being.

On Tuesday, November 5, journalists asked Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami several questions on the Almora bus accident at the Uttarakhand Secretariat in Dehradun. During this, CM Dhami said that a review is being done to prevent such incidents from happening again. The installation of crash barriers is also being reviewed. Kumaon Commissioner is conducting a magisterial inquiry into the Almora bus accident.

Apart from this, CM Dhami said that those police posts are also being questioned from where the bus has left overloaded. Action will be taken against anyone found guilty in the investigation. Along with this, wherever there is a lack of arrangements, they will be removed. At present, the focus of the government is to provide the best possible treatment to the injured. For this, the District Magistrates of the concerned district have also been instructed. The District Magistrate will also meet the families of those who lost their lives in the accident. The government will provide all possible help to the affected families.

CM Dhami said that this accident is very sad for the state. Many programs were also to be held for Uttarakhand State Day. The cultural program was proposed on 8 November, it has been postponed. Apart from this, there were inauguration and other such programs, for the time being they have also been postponed. Uttarakhand State Foundation Day will be celebrated peacefully. Because the whole state is in mourning at this time.
