Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the winter session of Parliament will be held from November 25 to December 20. The session will begin with the President’s address in the traditional manner. Apart from this, many important bills can be considered in both the houses of Parliament in the winter session. According to reports, the government can consider the issue of one country one election.

Earlier, according to the information received on November 2, there is a possibility of discussion on the bill presented for One Nation One Election and amendment in the Waqf Act in the winter session of Parliament. Given the aggressive attitude of the opposition, the upcoming winter session is expected to be very tumultuous. It is worth noting that the proposal of One Nation One Election has been approved by the Cabinet. Now emphasis will be laid on passing the bill in the winter session.
