As soon as Trump won, America fired the world’s most powerful nuclear missile, is it a message to China and Russia?
The US has tested the world’s most powerful nuclear missile Minuteman III just before the announcement of Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election. Minuteman III is an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). This test has shown that the US is capable of launching a nuclear attack anywhere in the world within 30 minutes. The US Air Force has described this test as a routine exercise, although questions are being raised about its timing. Some experts say that this test is also a message to China and Russia that the US military power has not weakened yet.
Where did the US test from?
The US Air Force said that it has conducted a training launch of the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. “A combined team of Air Force Global Strike Command airmen and Navy aircrews launched an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile equipped with multiple targetable re-entry vehicles from the Airborne Launch Control System (ALCS) at 11:01 p.m. Pacific Time on Nov. 5, 2024, from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California,” the base said in a statement.
What was the goal of the missile test
“This Minuteman III test launch exemplified the mission readiness, agility and professionalism of Vandenberg, Global Strike Command and U.S. Navy personnel,” said Col. Dorian Hatcher, deputy commander of Space Launch Delta 30. He also said, “Every test of this deterrent system at Vandenberg underscores the nation’s strong capabilities and highlights the indispensable support our airmen and protectors provide to ensure national security.” Commander said – we tested the missile’s capability
General Thomas A. Bussiere, commander of the Air Force Global Strike Command, said, “These tests demonstrate what Striker Airmen bring to the fight when called upon by the President.” He further said, “An air launch recognizes the power of our ICBMs, which serve as a strategic backstop for our country’s defense and the defense of allies and partners.”
The missile reached a distance of 4200 miles
The ICBM’s re-entry vehicle traveled about 4,200 miles to reach the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, located in the Kwajalein Atoll of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. During this time, data related to the missile was collected from Reagan test site sensors, including high-fidelity metric and signature radar, as well as optical sensors and telemetry. For these tests, RTS team members collected radar, optical and telemetry data in the final phase of flight to evaluate the performance of the system.
How powerful is the Minuteman III missile?
The Minuteman III missile is counted among America’s most powerful weapons. This missile is so powerful that it can destroy the existence of a small country. The range and power of the Minuteman-3 makes it one of the most powerful missiles in the world. The range of the Minuteman III missile is said to be about 10,000 kilometers. This missile can also target Russia and China from America.
