Singer Sharda Sinha is no more, last rites will be performed in Patna

Famous folk singer Sharda Sinha, who was awarded Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, is no more in this world. The singer died on the first day of Chhath Puja i.e. on October 5. She breathed her last at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi at around 9:20 pm last night. Let us tell you that she was suffering from septicemia due to refractory shock. Her body was brought to Delhi around 5 am today. After which her last rites will be performed in Bihar.

Singer Sharda Sinha’s last rites will be performed in Patna

Sharda Sinha was admitted to AIIMS Cancer Center on 26 October after her health deteriorated. After which her condition suddenly started deteriorating on November 4. Due to which she had to be put on ventilator support.

Let us tell you that recently her husband Brij Kishore Sinha also passed away. After which she was in a lot of shock. Her last rites will be performed on Thursday in Patna with state honors.

Son shared an emotional post

The information about Sharda Sinha’s death was given by her son. Son Anshuman shared an emotional post yesterday. In which he wrote, “All of you prayers and love will always be with mother. Chhathi Maiya has called mother to her. Mother is no longer physically among us.”

Bihar’s Nightingale Sharda Sinha

Sharda Sinha is also called the Nightingale of Bihar. The famous Indian folk singer has contributed a lot to Bhojpuri, Magahi Maithili music. She has a big hand in making the traditional music of Bihar famous. Many of her songs are famous. Which includes ‘Kahe To Se Sajna’ and ‘Pahele Pehal Hum Kaayi’. In view of her contribution to Indian music and culture, she was awarded the Padma Bhushan in the year 2018.
