The doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed on 17th November for winter, Panch Pujas will start from 13th
The doors of the world famous Badrinath Dham will be closed for winter this year on November 17 at 9:07 pm. As part of the process of closing the doors, Panch Pujas will begin from Wednesday, November 13.
This will be the program of Panch Pujas
As part of Panch Pujas, Lord Ganesha will be worshipped on the first day. The doors of Lord Ganesha will be closed in the evening on the same day. On the second day, November 14, the doors of Adi Kedareshwar Temple and Shankaracharya Temple will be closed. On the third day, November 15, the worship of Khadga-Pustaka and recitation of Vedic verses will stop. On the fourth day, November 16, Kadhai Bhog will be offered to Goddess Lakshmi. The doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed on November 17 at 9:07 pm.
On Monday, November 18, Rawal, Adi Guru Shankaracharya’s throne along with Kuber and Uddhav will leave for winter stay in Pandukeshwar and Narasimha Temple Joshimath. Uddhav and Lord Kuber will stay in Pandukeshwar during winter. The throne of Adi Guru Shankaracharya will reach the seat of power Nrisinh temple Joshimath on 19th November after his stay in Pandukeshwar on Monday 18th November. Along with this, winter pujas will be organized in the winter residence Pandukeshwar and Nrisinh temple Joshimath.
The doors of Madmaheshwar temple will be closed on 20th November
Let us tell you that out of the four Dhams of Uttarakhand, the doors of Kedarnath Dham, Yamunotri Dham, Gangotri Dham have been closed in the first week of November. Along with this, the doors of Rudranath and Tungnath temple have also been closed. The doors of Madmaheshwar temple will be closed for winter on 20th November.
