Uttarakhand: Big action in Uttarkashi mosque dispute case, action taken against ADM and Deputy SP
The Uttarakhand government has taken major action against two senior officials of Uttarkashi district. Under this, orders have been issued to remove the Additional District Magistrate and Deputy SP of Uttarkashi district. It is reported that recently a case of lathi charge on a Hindu organization came to light in Uttarkashi district. Regarding which a complaint was made by the local people to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. After this, this action has been taken on the instructions of CM Dhami.
There was a tremendous protest in Uttarkashi district on 24 October regarding the removal of the mosque. The matter had escalated so much that the police had to lathi charge during the incident. The special thing is that after this episode, now the Uttarakhand government has issued instructions to remove two senior officials of Uttarkashi district.
According to the order issued at the government level, Additional District Magistrate Raza Abbas of Uttarkashi district has been removed from the district. Now PCS officer Raza Abbas has been attached to the Personnel and Vigilance Department of Uttarakhand Government. Action has not been taken only on the Additional District Magistrate. Rather, orders have now been issued to remove the Deputy SP of the district Prashant Kumar from the district. According to the order issued by Additional Director General of Police AP Anshuman at the Police Headquarters, Deputy SP Prashant Kumar has now been attached to the Police Headquarters itself.
It is reported that during the recent visit of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to Uttarkashi, the local people had complained about the role of the administration and the police and during this time the matter of many people getting injured in the lathi charge was also put before him. Taking the matter seriously, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had given instructions to take action on this entire episode. After which the administration and the police headquarters have issued an order to remove two senior officers.
