Uttarkashi mosque dispute is increasing again
Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have made a big announcement regarding the mosque dispute in Uttarkashi. Bajrang Dal state convener Anuj Walia says that a memorandum will be sent to CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on November 25 by Hindu workers in three tehsils of Uttarkashi Ganga Valley.
VHP and Bajrang Dal announced Mahapanchayat on December 1
Anuj Walia says that a Hindu Mahapanchayat will be organized under the banner of Devbhoomi Vichar Manch on December 1 at Ramlila Maidan in Uttarkashi. This Mahapanchayat will be led by Vishwa Hindu Parishad Bajrang Dal and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
What is Uttarkashi Mosque Dispute?
There is a mosque in Mauja Barahat, Tehsil Bhatwadi of Uttarkashi, which the people of Hindu organizations are demanding to be removed. Due to this, the markets were closed in Uttarkashi on 24 October and a public outrage rally was taken out. Stone pelting also took place during this rally in which many policemen and people were injured. After which Section 163 was implemented in the area. Along with this, heavy police force was deployed.
