CM Dhami reached the martyr’s place on Uttarakhand Foundation Day, paid tribute to the state agitators
The 25th State Foundation Day of Uttarakhand is being celebrated with great pomp. Programs are being organized across the state on the occasion of State Foundation Day. In such a situation, on 9 November 2024 i.e. today, on the occasion of State Foundation Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Shaheed Sthal located at Dehradun Kachheri. Where Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid floral tribute to the state agitator martyrs. However, during this time, along with all the agitators of the state, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt was also present.
The agitators of the state have played a big role in making Uttarakhand a hilly state separate from Uttar Pradesh. After a long struggle and after the sacrifices of more than 40 agitators, a separate Uttarakhand state was obtained. This is the reason that every year on the occasion of Foundation Day, the Chief Minister reaches Shaheed Sthal and pays floral tribute to the martyrs. In the same sequence, CM Dhami also reached Shaheed Sthal, where he paid floral tribute to the state agitator martyrs. However, during this time, the Raj agitators handed over all the demand letters to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state of Uttarakhand has entered the silver jubilee year. The state of Uttarakhand was formed as a result of the struggles made by our state agitators for the formation of the state. The Chief Minister also remembered former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee on this occasion, who said that it was Atal Bihari Vajpayee who laid the foundation of the state of Uttarakhand. CM Dhami said that continuous work is being done by the state government to lead the state on the path of progress in accordance with the dreams of the state agitators. Also, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work is being done rapidly in every field in Uttarakhand.
CM Dhami said that the Uttarakhand government has taken many big decisions in the state, under which many decisions have been taken including Uniform Civil Code, Anti-Riot Law, Anti-Copying Law. Strict land law will be brought in the state soon. The government has taken major action against land jihad as well as spit jihad. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh said that Uttarakhand is moving ahead on the path of all-round development of Uttarakhand. The government is continuously working to make Uttarakhand the best state in the country.
Major announcements of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami-
- A comprehensive policy will be made by taking all the departments together for effective prevention of road accidents in the state
- Valley bridge will be installed to smoothen the traffic during disaster in the state
- Women’s policy will be notified soon to ensure the overall development of women in the state of Uttarakhand
- Players from Uttarakhand who will win medals in the National Games will be given an additional amount of the same amount by the state government in addition to the fixed prize money
- National Uttarakhandi Migrant Day will be organized every year in the month of November for migrants living in other states of the country outside Uttarakhand. Which has been started this year
- The International Uttarakhand Migrant Day will be organized every year in the month of January for the migrants of Uttarakhand living abroad
- All villages with a population of 50 and above will be connected by road by the year 2030 under a plan
- A specific youth policy will be made for the all-round development of the youth in the state
- A special process will be created to fix the accountability of contractors and engineers to improve the quality of roads
- Action will be initiated to give the Chief Minister Mother Child Incentive Assistance Fund to women for the care of mother and child during migration
