On the day of state foundation day, Uttarakhand Berojgar Sangh took out a fierce do or die rally and marched towards the Chief Minister’s residence. Under the leadership of Bobby Panwar, a large number of youths of Uttarakhand Berojgar Sangh gathered in Gandhi Park. During this, the youths marched towards the CM’s residence while raising slogans against the government. But before reaching the CM’s residence, the police stopped the youths by putting up barricades.

Uttarakhand Berojgar Sangh took out a fierce do or die rally today. A large number of youths participated in this rally. The unemployed youths marched from Gandhi Park to the CM’s residence. A large number of unemployed youths reached Hathi Bardkala from Gandhi Park via Dilaram Bazaar Chowk where the police stopped them by putting up barricades.

Heartened argument on being stopped by the police

There was a lot of heated argument and jostling between the angry unemployed youths and the police due to being stopped. Amidst the jostling, some youths climbed the barricades and raised slogans. Angry unemployed youths sat on the road and staged a dharna after being stopped before reaching the CM’s residence. During this, unemployed youth raised slogans against the government.

There is a demand for age relaxation in police constable recruitment

Unemployed youth have demanded that age relaxation be given in police constable recruitment. Along with this, there is a demand for recruitment of 500 posts separately for women.

Uttarakhand Berojgar Sangh president Bobby Panwar says that those who have not been able to apply for police constable recruitment even once till now can also apply if age relaxation is given.
