Teachers are preparing to go to the High Court against the decision of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, many questions raised

Teachers are preparing to go to the High Court against the decision of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. Teachers say that if the department implements the decision of the tribunal, some principals will be demoted. They also say that this matter of seniority is already in the High Court.
There is a dispute in the education department about the seniority of the lecturers selected by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission in 2005-06 and 2006-07. Some teachers have already gone to the High Court regarding the matter. Whereas the tribunal has said to give joint seniority to these lecturers appointed by the Public Service Commission in different recruitment years.
According to the teachers associated with the Lecturer Welfare Committee, many questions are being raised after this decision of the tribunal. The question is whether the department will give seniority from 2005-06 to the lecturers appointed in 2006-07 or will give seniority from 2006-07 to the lecturers appointed in 2005 -06.
Teachers are also raising this question
- How practical will it be to unify the seniority list and if the final (revised) list was released in 2009, will all the selected lecturers get seniority from 2009.
- The commission has not released the joint list of candidates appointed in the women cadre since 2005, so how will their seniority be decided.
- Will the department demote those lecturers who have become principals after getting promotion a decade ago from the departmental seniority list.
