The Bharatiya Janata Party is making all preparations for the assembly by-election to be held on the Kedarnath assembly seat of Uttarakhand. In this connection, BJP state president Mahesh Bhatt met the migrant voters on Sunday and appealed to them to vote in favor of the party.
All political parties are active for the by-election on the Kedarnath assembly seat and the ruling party BJP also does not want to take any risk on this seat.
BJP leaders are also trying to woo the migrant voters here for the by-election. BJP state president Mahesh Bhatt has taken the command in his own hands. He is touring different states to contact as many voters as possible and is appealing to the migrant voters living there to come to Kedarnath on the day of elections and vote in favor of the party.
In order to meet the migrant voters, the BJP leader reached Ludhiana in Punjab. Here he urged the migrant voters of Kedarnath assembly constituency to reach their booths to vote and appealed for cooperation in making BJP win.
Mahesh Bhatt said that from the point of view of Uttarakhand, the migrant people are mostly in those states where the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power. Our effort is to make plans for these people to come for the Kedarnath assembly by-election.
He said that these voters are in large numbers in Delhi, Chandigarh and Ludhiana. A meeting has been held in Ludhiana regarding this. It is an important part of the party’s strategy to ensure good voting in large numbers in the Kedarnath by-election this time. In such a situation, our migrant workers will reach for the Kedarnath by-election.
