Uttarakhand: On the foundation day of the State Women Commission, the chairperson counted the achievements and said – our aim is to empower the women of the state in every way

Uttarakhand State Women Commission celebrated its 19th Foundation Day. On this occasion, the Commission’s Chairperson Kusum Kandwal said that the Commission is doing better work for women. The condition of women is being continuously known in all the districts of the state. The status of women helpline is being known in every police station and one stop for women. The status of women’s safety is also being known. Awareness campaigns are also being run by contacting young women in universities. Along with this, raids are being conducted continuously in spa centers, so that wrong acts with women can be stopped. To stop women trafficking, better work is being done along with continuous verification action with the state police. Along with this, financially weak women are also being helped. Women’s policy will be implemented in the state soon.
