Now in UP you cannot build on agricultural land without permission, Yogi government’s order

If you live in UP then this news is important for you. The Yogi government has taken an important decision regarding construction on agricultural land in Uttar Pradesh. Now you will not be able to do any kind of construction on agricultural land without permission. The government has taken this decision regarding illegal residential and commercial construction on agricultural land.

UP government issued order
The UP government has issued an order in this regard. In the order issued by Principal Secretary Housing P Guruprasad, it has been said that before any kind of construction on agricultural land, it will be mandatory to take NOC from the concerned development authority. An order has also been given to immediately stop the work being done without NOC. With this order, land mafias can be reined in. Apart from this, illegal construction in authority areas can also be stopped.

Let us tell you that earlier in 2022 also a government order was issued. In this, it was said to stop such construction but this could not be stopped by the District Magistrate and Divisional Commissioner. Now it has been asked to follow it strictly. Now if agricultural land situated under any development authority and special development area is being used for any purpose other than farming, then it will be necessary to take permission for it first.

Why was the decision taken?
Let us tell you that some time ago agricultural land is being used illegally for residential and commercial construction. No permission is taken for such construction and in many cases people are cheated in the name of the project. Now with the mandatory NOC, such cases will decrease.
