Dehradun Police is running a campaign against drug smugglers. Police has arrested a smuggler with 140 grams of hashish under Patel Nagar area.
A smuggler arrested with 140 grams of illegal hashish
During checking on the road towards Nayagaon Pelio under Kotwali Patel Nagar area, police arrested Vimlesh (25) son of Bhagwan Chaudhary, a native of Bihar, currently residing in Selaqui, Dehradun with 140 grams of hashish. Police has registered a case against the accused under NDPS Act.
The accused was trying to sell hashish at high prices
The accused told during interrogation that he works as a labourer. He had bought hashish from another unknown drug addict, which he was trying to sell at high prices to other people working with him as labourers and drug addicts to make a profit. But before that the police arrested him.
