On October 15, the Supreme Court rejected the SLP against the regularization of the state government. The decision taken by the Nainital High Court in the year 2018 in favor of regularization of Upanal employees was upheld by the Supreme Court. The employees marched to the Secretariat by holding a huge rally over the government’s indifference towards Upanal employees. After this, the employees were assured that a decision will be taken on this soon. But despite that, the government has once again filed a review petition.

Congress surrounded the government
Congress Senior Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana has surrounded the government fiercely on the filing of a review petition by the government in the case of Upanal employees. He said that on the initiative of the Chief Minister, the Chief Secretary held talks with the employees to stop the strike of the Upanal employees.

He assured them that the code of conduct is in place in Kedarnath, so no announcement can be made. On November 25, a meeting will be held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, in which everyone will participate. After which the employees postponed the strike. But by filing a review petition, they have stabbed the Upanal employees in the back.

Congress is standing with the Upanal employees
Suryakant Dhasmana says that on one hand the government got the agitation postponed, while on the other hand the government filed a review petition. Dhasmana said that against this, the delegation of the Congress party is seeking time from the Governor. Whenever time is available, the Congress delegation will go to the Governor and the Congress will stand with the Upanal employees.
