Big action by Uttarakhand STF, Bareilly smuggler arrested with smack worth 80 lakhs in Dehradun

The Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a smack smuggler in Dehradun. The accused is a resident of Bareilly. The police have recovered about 261 grams of smack from the accused. The value of the smack caught is said to be around Rs 80 lakh.

Uttarakhand STF SSP Navneet Bhullar revealed the whole matter. He told that ANTF had received information about the smack smuggler of Bareilly. After which the ANTF team laid a trap to catch the accused and arrested him from Kargi Grant Muslim Colony Marg in Patel Kotwali area of ​​​​Dehradun.

Smack to be supplied to peddlers

Police said that the smuggler had brought smack from Bareilly in UP, which he was going to supply to peddlers in different areas of Dehradun. The name of the smack smuggler caught by the police is Talib Khan, who is a resident of Bareilly district of UP. A case has been registered against the accused in Patel Nagar Kotwali of Dehradun.

Many smack smugglers were identified

STF SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar said that the Anti Narcotics Task Force was getting information for a long time that smugglers from Bareilly are supplying smack in Dehradun. After which the team identified the smack smugglers. In this sequence, a big smack smuggler from Bareilly came into the hands of the Anti Narcotics Task Force.

During police interrogation, the accused told that he is a resident of Majnupur village of Bareilly, who prepares smack himself in his village. He had come to give this smack to Nazim of his village Majnupur. Nazim lives in Haridwar bypass Dehradun. Earlier also the accused has given the goods to Nazim many times through different means. Apart from this, the Anti Narcotics Task Force has also received information about many other smugglers, against whom action will also be taken soon.

After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
