Uttarakhand: Congress called CM’s meeting a hoax, Land Law Struggle Committee announced hunger strike
While there is a movement going on in Uttarakhand demanding a strong land law. On the other hand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held an important meeting regarding land law in Gairsain on Wednesday. In which the provisions of the land law have been discussed. While Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has tried to give a big message from Gairsain, the Mool Niwas Bhoomi Law Sangharsh Samiti has now announced a hunger strike. While the Congress has termed the efforts of the government as a hoax.
CM Dhami regarding land law
Strong land law is taking the form of a mass movement in Uttarakhand. On the other hand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced that the government will bring a strong land law in the upcoming budget session in Uttarakhand. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also held an important meeting regarding land law in Gairsain. In which the changes to be made in the land law were discussed.
By holding a meeting regarding land law in Gairsain, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also tried to give a big message from the summer capital that the government is serious about land law. Along with this, the message has also been given that the government will bring land law in accordance with the sentiments of the people of the state.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami says that the government is moving in the direction of strong land law. Along with this, the land which was purchased for the purpose and work has not been done on that purpose. So now action is being taken on such lands and such lands are being vested in the government.
Congress called CM’s meeting a hoax
The main opposition party Congress says that the government is merely doing a hoax regarding the land law in the meeting held by CM Dhami regarding land law in Gairsain. Whereas the government is not serious about strong land law. Congress State President Karan Mahara says that the intention of the government behind this is not right.
Land Law Struggle Committee announced hunger strike
Mohit Dimri, the convener of the Mool Niwas Bhoomi Law Struggle Committee, which is fighting for the demand of land law, says that if the government does not cancel all the changes that have been made in the land law after 2018 before the Constitution Day on 26 November, then he will sit on a land strike under the banner of Mool Niwas Bhoomi Law Struggle Committee from 26 November.
