Uttarakhand: The doors of Adi Kedareshwar and Adi Guru Shankaracharya temple were closed with due rituals

The process of closing the doors of Badrinath Dham has started on 13th November. In this process, the doors of Adi Kedareshwar temple and Adi Guru Shankaracharya temple have been closed with rituals today at 2 pm on Thursday.

After the Bhog Aarti of Lord Badri Vishal in Badrinath temple on Thursday, Rawal Amarnath Namboodri performed Annakut Puja in Adi Kedareshwar temple. During this, Adi Kedareshwar Shivling was covered with cooked rice. After which special worship was done. After the worship, Adi Kedareshwar Shiv Linga was brought to Nirvana form and covered with flowers, ashes etc. The priests of Kedareshwar temple closed the Adi Kedareshwar temple at 2 pm.
The doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed on 17th November
After Kedareshwar temple, the doors of Adi Guru Shankaracharya temple have also been closed at 2:15 pm according to mythological traditions. Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur said that on the third day of Panch Puja, tomorrow i.e. Friday, November 15, worship of Veda books, Khadga-Pustaka Puja and recitation of Veda mantras will stop. Let us tell you that the doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed for winter on November 17.
