CM Dhami inaugurated the Srinagar Baikunth Chaturdashi fair, prayed at the Kamleshwar temple and wished for the prosperity of the state, said- Uttarakhand is moving towards becoming a leader
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the seven-day Baikunth Chaturdashi Fair and Development Exhibition-2024 organized at Awas Vikas Maidan in Srinagar by lighting the lamp. During this, the Chief Minister offered prayers at Kamleshwar Mahadev Temple and prayed for the prosperity of the state.
On Thursday, November 14, CM Dhami reached Srinagar and inaugurated the Baikunth Chaturdashi Fair and Development Exhibition-2024. During this, he also inspected the departmental stall. CM Dhami bowed his head at Lord Kamleshwar Mahadev Temple on Baikunth Chaturdashi festival. He offered water to Lord Shiva and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state.
At the main event venue, Awas Vikas Exhibition Ground, Chief Minister Dhami welcomed and greeted the people who came to the inauguration ceremony of Baikunth Chaturdashi Mela in Srinagar and said that I am very happy to come to this mythological Dham situated on the banks of Patit Pavani Maa Alaknanda. The mythological temples of this region are the priceless heritage of our state.
Baikunth Chaturdashi fair is a symbol of faith
He said that this fair, which is organized every year on the occasion of Baikunth Chaturdashi, is a symbol of faith of Devbhoomi as well as a symbol of our rich traditions. He said that I also congratulate the organizing committee of this fair because you people are working to take this cultural heritage to the new generation. He said that work is going on under the master plan at all the places like Badrinath Dham, Kedarnath Dham at a cost of crores. Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project will strengthen connectivity in the hills including Srinagar.
Work on CCU in progress in medical college
Mentioning the ongoing schemes in Srinagar area, he said that work on a critical care unit of more than 50 beds is going on in the medical college at a cost of 25 crores. Roadways bus stand and parking have been constructed in Srinagar at a cost of 4.88 crores. He said that emphasis is being laid on developing a new township in Belkandi Bilkedar area.
Consideration on land law continues
During this, Chief Minister Dhami said a big thing about the land law. He said that soon the state is going to get a strong land law. For this, opinions are being sought from intellectuals and people from different sections of the society. Discussions are being held on how the land law should be made. Soon there will be a strong land law among the people of the state. He said that BJP is going to win the Kedarnath by-election with a huge number of votes. The BJP government has done work worth crores of rupees in the Kedarnath valley. Will continue to do so in future also. The public is happy with the policies of BJP.
