For the first time women will perform the aarti of Maa Ganga, 17 lakh diyas will be lit on 84 ghats
The country is celebrating the festival of Dev Diwali with great pomp today. On this special occasion, special worship of Baba Vishwanath will be done. Baba’s court is being decorated with flowers. Colorful lights are also being installed here. Apart from this, lamps will be lit in the entire Dham. Lalita Ghat and Ganga Dwar are also being decorated with lamps.
For the first time, women will perform the aarti of Mother Ganga
On Dev Diwali, women will perform the aarti of Mother Ganga for the first time. 101 women will make this event of Dev Deepawali special at Rajghat. During this, the aura of Guru Nanak Dev and Gautam Buddha will shine in the tableaux. There will also be a tableau giving a social message.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be the chief guest
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be the chief guest. He will also inaugurate Namo Ghat. He will be accompanied by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and State Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh.
More than 17 lakh lamps will be lit
With public participation, more than 17 lakh lamps will be lit in 84 ghats, kunds, ponds and temples of Kashi. There will be a 25-minute 3D laser projection mapping show, laser light and sound show. Apart from this, 21 priests will perform Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and the martyrs will be given a guard of honor. It is being told that more than 10 lakh tourists can come to the program.
