Uttarakhand: Crowds gathered in Haridwar for bathing on Kartik Purnima, ghats were packed to the brim
A crowd of devotees has gathered in Haridwar today for Kartik Purnima bath. Since morning, devotees are paying obeisance to Maa Ganga and taking a bath in the Ganga. In view of the devotees coming to take a holy dip, the police has issued a traffic plan. Along with this, a route diversion plan has also been implemented for vehicles coming from outside.
Crowd gathered in Haridwar for Kartik Purnima bath
Today, on the holy festival of Kartik Purnima, devotees from all over the country are reaching to take a holy dip in the Ganga. Due to which the Ganga Ghats are packed.
Heavy crowd was seen on the Ghats since 12 o’clock on Friday night. Due to which the police is on alert mode. Devotees are continuously reaching to take a dip in the Ganga.
Police has issued a traffic plan
In view of Kartik Purnima bath, the police has issued a traffic plan. Senior Superintendent of Police Pramod Singh Dobal has given instructions to strictly follow the traffic plan. Along with this, instructions have also been given to maintain smooth traffic system.
