IPL Auction: Eight players from Uttarakhand are included in the auction, this player has already shown his skills on the field

The Uttarakhand Premier League, which was organized in a grand manner last month at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Dehradun, has become a ladder to IPL for eight players of the state. Eight players from Uttarakhand have got a place in the IPL auction list conducted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

Seven of these players are new while Akash Madhwal has already shown his talent on the field for Mumbai Indians. Cricket Association of Uttarakhand Secretary Mahim Verma said that the players definitely took advantage of a big platform like UPL and they also got rewarded for their performance.

Different franchises of the Indian Premier League have a lot of faith in the talent of Uttarakhand. This is the reason why the coaching staff associated with different IPL franchises were present in the stadium during the matches of Uttarakhand Premier League. The performance of the players impressed all of them a lot.

Craze for UPL increased

Seeing the grandeur of Uttarakhand Premier League, many industrial houses have contacted the CAU secretary to buy teams. Currently there are five teams in UPL. In the next season, the number of these teams will increase to eight.
