Uttarakhand: ‘Adi Gaurav Mahotsav’ organized in Dehradun, CM Pushkar Dhami danced with the people of tribal society
On the occasion of Tribal Pride Day, ‘Aadi Gaurav Mahotsav’ was organized at ONGC Stadium in Dehradun. The festival was inaugurated by CM Pushkar Dhami. During this, he also inspected all the stalls set up in the festival. The special thing was that CM Dhami danced fiercely with the tribal people.
Let us tell you that the festival is being organized by Uttarakhand Tribal Research Institute (TRI) from 15 to 17 November. Today Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami virtually handed over certificates to the beneficiaries of PM Janman Yojana. Also gave certificates to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi and Ayushman Card. Apart from this, the foundation stone of two hostel buildings was also laid under PM Janman Yojana in Kulha of Udham Singh Nagar and Lachhampur of Kotdwar.
After inaugurating the Aadi Gaurav Mahotsav organized in Dehradun, CM Dhami said that Tribal Pride Day is being celebrated on the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the year 2021. The government is trying to ensure that all the tribes and people of tribal areas develop at a faster pace. So that, the people of tribes and tribal areas are included in the mainstream in every vision and every field. The central and state governments are working in this direction.
Government ready for the upliftment of the five tribes of Uttarakhand
Apart from this, CM Dhami said that development schemes are reaching the people living at the last end of the society. This is also a priority of the government. Therefore, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government will work with full readiness for the upliftment of the people of the five tribes (Jaunsari, Bhotiya, Tharu, Buksa, Raji) present in Uttarakhand. Also, all the schemes that are necessary to change the lives of these people will be implemented.
‘Tribal Science Festival’ will be organized every year
At the same time, during the Adi Gaurav Mahotsav, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that ‘Tribal Science Festival’ will be organized every year to encourage tribal talents in the field of science. For which funds will be provided to the Uttarakhand Tribal Research Institute as per the need.
Selection of 128 tribal villages of Uttarakhand under Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan: Apart from this, CM Dhami said that 128 tribal villages of Uttarakhand have been selected under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan. Along with the development of basic facilities in these selected villages, economic empowerment, better education system and healthy life will be promoted.
