A woman died due to the attack of wasps in Malli Bhateri village, located at a distance of 20 km from the district headquarters of Pithoragarh. According to the information received, 52-year-old Devki Devi, wife of late Trilok Ram, a resident of Malli Bhateri village, had gone to cut grass with other women of the village. But while cutting grass, a swarm of wasps attacked her. In which she was badly injured. In a hurry, the villagers took her to the district hospital. Where the woman died during treatment.

One person died in a bee attack here

The second incident is of a bee attack in which a person died. It is being told that 50-year-old Naresh Chandra Tiwari, son of Bhopal Dutt Tiwari, originally a resident of Bhauri village of Pithoragarh, who was currently living in Manihargoth in Tanakpur.

On Friday afternoon, he was working in transport near Pithoragarh Chungi. During this time, a swarm of bees attacked him. People present nearby took him to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. Dr. Jitendra Joshi said that he died before reaching the hospital. The doctor says that there was no bee sting anywhere on the body of the deceased. The real cause of death will be revealed only after the post-mortem.
