Manipur is neither united nor safe, Kharge lashes out at BJP over violence

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has launched a scathing attack on the central government and the state government over the Manipur violence. Kharge said that Manipur is neither safe nor has been under the BJP’s double engine government. Kharge has made a serious allegation against the BJP government of doing divisive politics.

Neither Manipur is one nor safe
The Congress President addressed PM Modi in a post shared on the social media platform X and wrote that, Manipur is neither one nor safe under your double engine government. In May 2023, Manipur is going through unimaginable pain, division and violence, which has destroyed the future of its people. We are saying this with full responsibility that it seems that the BJP deliberately wants to keep Manipur burning so that it can continue its divisive politics.

The people of the state will not forgive the BJP
Kharge said that the BJP government in Manipur has completely failed. The people of the state will never forgive the BJP for this. Kharge wrote that 17 people have lost their lives in Manipur since November 7 and violence is increasing in the border state. If you visit Manipur in the future, the people of the state will never forgive you nor forget what you did to them.
