Uttar Pradeh / Shahjahanpur: Suspecting of giving property to sister-in-law, daughter-in-law along with her brothers killed father-in-law
In Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the daughter-in-law killed her elderly father-in-law over a property dispute. This murder incident took place in Rautapur Kala village of Khutar police station area. Police said on Saturday that 65-year-old Ramsevak was murdered by his daughter-in-law and her relatives.
According to the news agency report, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Manoj Kumar Awasthi said that Ramsevak’s body was found in his house on Thursday morning. Family members said that he was killed by attacking with some heavy object while sleeping.
During the investigation, the police suspected the deceased’s daughter-in-law Shashi Mishra and her relatives, Subodh Mishra and Shatrughan Mishra. During interrogation, it was found that Shashi often had disputes with her father-in-law over property. Shashi suspected that Ramsevak might transfer his property to his daughter.
On the night of the murder, Shashi called her cousin Subodh Mishra and said, ‘This matter should end today, after which, Shashi, Subodh and Shatrughan together carried out this incident.
During interrogation, all three accused have accepted their involvement in the murder. The police have arrested them on charges of murder and sent them to jail. This incident has created a sensation in the village. The police is busy investigating the case. The police has appealed to the people to try to solve property dispute cases through law.
