Karan Mahara, accusing the BJP of not doing development, said that today the public here is crying, upset and asking what work was done here in six years. Regarding the road problem in Chopta, Mahara said that for years people were forced to pass through potholed roads but the road was not built.
On Saturday, for the CM’s program, the road was built overnight and asphalting was also done. He said that the asphalting was done in such a way that it would get uprooted in four days. He said that this is not asphalting but theft. He has alleged that the livelihood of the people of Kedarnath is in danger. The BJP has ruined the Char Dham Yatra.
