Uttarakhand: In order to earn money through shortcut, ransom was demanded from YouTuber Saurabh Joshi, a youth from UP was arrested
Police has disclosed the case of ransom being demanded from Haldwani’s famous YouTuber Saurabh Joshi. SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena said that in this case, the police has arrested Arun Kumar (19) son of Puran Singh, resident of Thanpur Post Office Dabari Thana Faizganj Tehsil Bisauli District Badaun Uttar Pradesh. The accused had demanded a ransom of two crore rupees from Saurabh Joshi in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.
It was told that the accused used to work in a hotel in Punjab. After being thrown out of the hotel, the accused took this step due to shortage of money and to earn money in shortcuts. Police has arrested the accused from Haldwani.

Haldwani resident YouTuber Saurabh Joshi has said in the complaint given to the police that he has received a threatening letter. In this letter, there is a threat to kill me and my family members. Saurabh has said in the complaint given to the police that he is very scared. On the other hand, the police has registered a case on Saurabh’s complaint and started investigation.
It was written in the letter
“Hello Saurav Joshi, I am Karan Bishnoi, from Lawrence Bishnoi gang, this letter is being sent to give you an important information. Our boss Lawrence Bishnoi has ordered you to give two crore rupees in cash to our gang. If you do not give the cash amount, then you or any member of your family has been ordered to be killed. It is written in the letter that we will wait for your reply for five days. If you do not give any reply or try to complain to the police or share this with anyone other than your family, then one member will be reduced from your family. We will wait for your reply.
