Major Shaitan Singh Bhati was an officer of the Indian Army. He was awarded the Param Vir Chakra posthumously for his indomitable courage in the 1962 Indo-China war.
Major Shaitan Singh was born on 1 December 1924 in Bansar village of Phalodi district of Rajasthan. While he was martyred while fighting the war on 18 November 1962. He was awarded the Param Vir Chakra in the year 1963.
