There is shortage of food in Gaza, UN’s relief material convoy was looted; lives of 20 lakh people are in danger

A convoy of 109 trucks carrying relief supplies was looted after entering Gaza. This caused damage to 98 trucks. This incident happened on 16 November. Personnel have also been injured in the incident.

UNRWA Senior Emergency Officer Lewis Wateridge said that the convoy carrying relief supplies provided by UN agencies UNRWA and the World Food Program was instructed by Israel to depart at short notice through an unfamiliar route from the Kerem Shalom crossing.

The lives of more than 2 million people are in danger

This incident highlights the seriousness of the challenges of delivering aid to southern and central Gaza. Lewis said that without immediate intervention, the situation of people suffering from severe food shortages will worsen. Due to this, the lives of more than 2 million people will be in danger. Israel seizes weapons manufacturing equipment

Israeli security forces have seized equipment used in weapon manufacturing and repair during a raid in Hebron. Also, two Palestinian citizens have been arrested from the spot. At the same time, 20 Palestinians were killed on Monday in Israeli military attacks on the Gaza Strip. These include six people who were killed in attacks on tents built for displaced families.

Houthi targets ship in Red Sea

Houthi terrorists targeted commercial ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. However, there are no reports of damage or injuries. The British Army Operations Center said in an alert that in the first attack late Sunday night, a missile fell close to the ship in the southern Red Sea near the Bab al-Mandeb Strait connecting to the Gulf of Aden.

The attack took place about 48 km west of the Yemeni port city of Mocha. On Monday, a missile fell close to the ship in another attack about 112 km southeast of Aden in the Gulf of Aden. The ship and crew are safe and are moving forward.
