Uttarakhand: Sports Minister Rekha Arya makes a big announcement, those who perform well at the state level will get reservation

Sports Minister Rekha Arya inaugurated the district level sports Mahakumbh organized in Dehradun today. In this sports Mahakumbh organized at Maharana Pratap Sports College, about 1100 girls are participating in various sports competitions.

Players are getting world class facilities
The minister said that today our government is providing world class facilities to the players of the state. The minister said that new and developed grounds are being built for the players, better opportunities are being provided for their training and players are also being given priority in government jobs.

Reservation will be given to those who perform excellently at the state level
Sports Minister Rekha Arya made a big announcement in the interest of the players and said that from now on, under the Sports Mahakumbh, children who perform excellently at the state level will also be linked to the 4% reservation given to the players. He told that a proposal has also been prepared by the department for this. It will also be implemented soon.

Preparations for the National Games were examined
The minister also inspected the venues being prepared for the National Games at the Maharana Pratap Sports College campus. The minister inspected the shooting range, multipurpose sports hall, basketball court and the track being prepared for horse riding. During this, he instructed the officials to complete the remaining work soon.
