TTP terrorists attacked Pakistan Army fiercely, killed 17 soldiers by slitting their throats, carried their bodies on donkeys

17 soldiers of the Pakistani army have been killed in a suicide bomb blast and firing in the Malikhel area of ​​Bannu district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan. Hafiz Gul Buhadur Group (HGB), an ally of TTP, has claimed responsibility for this attack. HGB has also beheaded Pakistani soldiers, and has also released a video of it. On the other hand, the Pakistani soldiers could not even find a vehicle after the attack and they had to carry the bodies of their comrades on a donkey.

An army checkpost in Bannu was targeted and attacked. The suicide bomber who came in a car blew himself up at the checkpost, causing a huge explosion. Security forces have claimed to have killed six attackers in the firing after the attack. The number of attacks targeting security forces, police and security posts in Balochistan and KP of Pakistan is continuously increasing.

The attackers will definitely be punished: Pak Army

A statement issued by the Pak Army on Wednesday said that a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives into a joint check post in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The terrorists tried to attack a joint check post in the Malikhel area of ​​Bannu district late on Tuesday night but the security forces effectively foiled their attempt to enter the post. The statement said that the Pak Army will not forget the death of its soldiers and the perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice.

Attacks have increased in Pakistan’s KP and Balochistan since 2022, when the TTP broke the ceasefire agreement with the government and talked about targeting security forces. In the year 2023, 789 terror attacks and counter-terrorism operations in Pakistan resulted in 1,524 violence-related deaths and 1,463 people were injured.

Attacks on Pak army increased

Attacks have increased in Balochistan and KP in recent days. A day earlier, four people were killed and several injured in firing on a double-cabin vehicle in Bannu district. On Monday, more than half a dozen policemen were abducted from a check post on the border of North Waziristan. Last week also, at least eight security personnel were killed in a fierce gunfight with militants in KP’s Tirah Valley.
