Uttarakhand: In Jolly Grant area, miscreants in a car fired at a house, police laid a blockade and caught one accused
A case of firing has come to light in Jolly Grant area of Dehradun district. Where miscreants in a car opened fire on a house. Due to which there was an atmosphere of panic in the area. After this, the victim informed the police. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and blocked the road to arrest the accused. At the same time, Raiwala police took one accused into custody by doing a blockade.
According to the information, a white car number HR 51 BK 3371 came on the Upper Jolly Road of Jolly Grant under Doiwala Kotwali area at around 5:30 pm. A person riding in it opened fire near the house of local resident Shakti Singh. Due to which Shakti Singh’s family and the people around came in panic. The entire incident of firing was captured in CCTV camera. After this, Shakti Singh immediately informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police came into action and started the siege all around.
At the same time, the police took the accused into custody by doing a blockade near Raiwala. Police say that the accused who fired is being questioned. Information is being gathered about the reason behind the firing. This entire incident is being linked to a land dispute. The house in front of which this incident happened has seen land disputes many times before, but there is no land dispute with that house.
The accused who fired has been taken into custody. At present, the accused in custody is being questioned.
