LG Saxena praised Delhi CM, said- Atishi is thousand times better than Kejriwal

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Friday praised CM Atishi. He said that CM Atishi is a thousand times better than former CM Arvind Kejriwal. At the seventh convocation of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, LG Saxena said, “I am happy today that the Chief Minister of Delhi is a woman and I can say with confidence that she is a thousand times better than her predecessor CM Kejriwal.”

LG Saxena took a look at CM Atishi while praising her. CM Atishi addressed the students at the convocation. In his speech, LG Saxena told the students, “As you move forward, you have four guiding stars. The first is your responsibility towards yourself, the second is your responsibility towards your parents and family while the third responsibility is towards society and nation building.”

He said, “The fourth responsibility is to prove yourself as a woman who has broken the shackles of gender and stood equal to others in all fields.”

CM Atishi congratulated women engineers

During this, CM Atishi said- Farewell to the graduating batch of talented young women engineers at the 7th convocation of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. Education is the key to India’s development and these women are breaking stereotypes. They are proving that there is no limit to what they can achieve. They can become job providers who will take India’s economy forward! Kejriwal and LG have been face to face

During Arvind Kejriwal’s tenure as CM, there have been differences between him and LG on many issues including bureaucracy. Kejriwal resigned in September. He had said that he would seek a certificate of honesty from the public in view of the corruption charges against him. Kejriwal had proposed Atishi’s name as Chief Minister in the Legislature Party meeting and it was unanimously accepted.
