Uttarakhand / Rudrapur: The body of an auto driver missing for nine days was found in a pit, love affair came to the fore behind the murder
The body of auto driver Sumit (24), who was missing from Rampura for nine days, was recovered by the police from a ditch located on the river bank in Preet Vihar area. CO City Niharika Tomar along with the entire force as well as the forensic team had collected evidence from the spot.
The police have sent the body to the post-mortem house. It is being told that the youth has been murdered due to a love affair. The deceased had a love marriage seven years ago. He has a five-year-old son Sunny. The deceased was the eldest of three brothers. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the deceased’s father Raju Srivastava along with all the relatives reached the post-mortem house crying.
The deceased’s family was consoled
A large number of people have also gathered there. In view of the possibility of uproar, police force is deployed there. The police have taken the four accused including the deceased’s wife into custody. It is being told that the murder has been committed due to a love affair.
The police became active when people surrounded the police station on Wednesday. Here, former MLA Rajkumar Thukral reached the post-mortem house and consoled the family members of the deceased. He said that the last rites will not be performed until the other two accused are caught.
