President’s residence will be opened for general public, Draupadi Murmu gave instructions to provide facilities
The historic President’s residence located on Rajpur Road in Dehradun is going to open for the general public from the coming month of April. President Draupadi Murmu has instructed the officials to provide necessary facilities to the public.

On the instructions of President Draupadi Murmu, today the officials of the President’s Secretariat reached Dehradun, held a meeting with the state government officials and instructed to provide necessary facilities to the public in the residence. After the instructions of President Draupadi Murmu, the 186-year-old President’s residence located in Dehradun is being opened for the general public.
President’s residence is spread over an area of 21 acres
The premises of President’s residence spread over an area of 21 acres is currently being used by the President’s bodyguard. In a meeting of senior officials held on Saturday, it was decided that the general public will be able to enter the main building of the complex. During this time, people will get a chance to get acquainted with the history of the 251-year-old regiment of the Indian Army, PBG, along with the President’s residence and its 186-year-old stable.
