Uttarakhand: People of Haldwani will have to face some trouble, police has diverted the routes due to weekend

Nainital Police has diverted the city route due to the weekend. Police has prepared a diversion plan for tourists and the general public.

Police diverted routes due to weekend

The traffic plan will be effective for heavy vehicles going from the city of Haldwani to the hilly area and coming from the hilly area to the city of Haldwani. According to the police, entry of heavy vehicles in the Yatra route will be prohibited from 12 noon to 10 am on Sunday.

The police has asked heavy vehicles of essential services (such as vegetables, fruits, fuel, gas, milk) to complete their services by 4 pm. After which, movement of vehicles of essential services will also be completely prohibited in the Yatra route from 4 pm to 10 pm. Exit of heavy vehicles going from Sabzi Mandi to the hilly area will be completely closed from Badi Mandi from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

This will be the diversion plan

  • All heavy vehicles going to the hilly area from Kaladhungi Road will be stopped on the left side of the road going towards Fatehpur, Katgharia from Lamachaur Tiraha and heavy vehicles going to the hilly area from the city area will be stopped on the left side of the road between Unchapul Tiraha and Chauphala Chauraha to Chambal Pul Tiraha.
  • Heavy vehicles going to the hilly area from Bareilly Road, Rampur Road will be stopped on the left side of the road near Golapul Banbhulpura.
  • Heavy vehicles going to the hilly area from Cholgalia Road will be stopped on the left side of the road between Kunwarpur Tiraha and Kheda Chauraha.
  • Heavy vehicles coming from Almora, Bageshwar towards Haldwani city will be able to come from Bhawali via Masjid Tiraha to Number 1 Band Jyolikot. Where they will be stopped till 10 o’clock.
  • Heavy vehicles coming from Mukteshwar Road towards Haldwani city will be able to come from Mukteshwar via Ramgarh Road via Bhawali via Masjid Tiraha to Number 1 Band Jyolikot. Where they will be stopped till 10 o’clock.
  • Heavy vehicles coming from Bhimtal towards Haldwani city will be stopped at Saldi Chowki, Amritpur from 12:00 noon to 10 o’clock.
  • Heavy vehicles (essential services) coming from the mountainous region towards Haldwani will also be stopped at the above mentioned places from 4 o’clock to 10 o’clock.
