Uttarakhand: Road accident in Champawat, scooty and Bolero collide fiercely, five people injured in the accident

News of a road accident is coming from the Lohaghat-Champawat National Highway. A scooty and a Bolero collided head-on near Maneshwar. Five people riding the scooty and the Bolero are said to be injured in the accident.

Strong collision between scooty and Bolero

The accident is said to have happened on Monday morning. According to the information, Lohaghat resident Lalit Murari (39), who was riding a scooty from Champawat towards Lohaghat, collided with a Bolero coming from the front. The collision was so strong that the scooty driver jumped and came under the wheels of a canter coming from the front. The condition of the scooty rider is said to be critical. Along with this, four people including the driver of the Bolero are said to be injured.

Five people injured in the accident

All the injured were taken to the district hospital for treatment. On receiving information about the accident, the police team also reached the spot. Giving information, Kotwal Pratap Singh Negi said that the injured have been identified as Lalit Murari (39) resident of Lohaghat (scooter rider), Satish Chand Bolero driver (38), Hem Pathak (47), Kamala Pathak (45), Lalit Pathak (42). All these people are said to be residents of Lohaghat.
