Google Map showed the wrong route, car climbed on an incomplete bridge, three people lost their lives
Nowadays, if people have to go to any unknown place, they travel with the help of Google Map without any problem. But trusting Google Map so much can also prove to be fatal. There have been many such cases when GPS takes us to deserted, rough and closed roads. One such case is coming from Bareilly, UP. Where GPS showed the way to the incomplete bridge in the fastest route to the people traveling in the car. Due to which the car fell down from the bridge. Three people died in this accident.
People were going with the help of Google Map
Actually, in July last year, the approach road of the bridge built to connect Bareilly to Badaun near Khalpur village of Faridpur was cut. In such a situation, the river started flowing between the village and the bridge. Also, a part of the incomplete bridge opened towards the river. A thin wall was built at the beginning of the bridge to stop traffic in it. But the villagers broke that wall. After which the administration did not take any steps to close the bridge.
Car climbed on the incomplete bridge
People in the car were coming from Gurugram to Faridpur to attend a wedding through this route. People used Google Maps for the route. Due to this, they climbed on the incomplete bridge and three people lost their lives in the accident.
People were going to niece’s wedding
According to the information, in the death that happened near Khalpur village, cousins Vivek Chauhan and Kaushal were going to Faridpur to attend their niece’s wedding. There was another person in this car whose name was Amit.
