A road accident in Rishikesh has taken away a public leader and state agitator of Uttarakhand. Trivendra Panwar, who had gone to attend a wedding ceremony, was hit by an uncontrollable truck. He died in this accident. The truck took the lives of 3 people including two more. This accident has caused a wave of mourning in Uttarakhand, especially among the state agitators and UKD. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also condoled the death of former UKD president and currently patron Trivendra Panwar.

Uttarakhand Kranti Dal i.e. UKD has expressed grief over Trivendra Panwar. The party’s central vice-president Jai Prakash Upadhyay says that Trivendra Singh Panwar played an active role in the state movement under the guidance of Indramani Badoni. In view of his struggle with the agitators across the state, the then Prime Minister Deve Gowda had called for talks. From the ramparts of the Red Fort, the then Prime Minister Deve Gowda had announced the creation of the state of Uttarakhand.
Letter bomb was thrown in Parliament during the state movement
Trivendra Pawar had thrown a letter bomb in the Parliament of India for the state movement. With this, he attracted the attention of the MPs towards the Uttarakhand state movement. During the state movement, he also fell into the Yamuna river. He was seriously injured then. He was treated for a long time. He was elected twice as the President of UKD
In 1995, he was elected as the President of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal. In 2011, he was again elected as the President of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal. Currently, he was the patron of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal. Jai Prakash said that Trivendra Pawar was a true son of the Himalayas. He carried out many movements in the interest of the state and went to jail many times. He considered it his duty to fight the governments in the interest of the natives of the state. Due to his devotion to duty, he never bowed down to the governments.
