Committees will be formed at the village level in Uttarakhand, Minister Rawat handed over appointment letters to the candidates
A cooperative workshop was organized in the Uttarakhand State Cooperative Union Auditorium to encourage financial transactions of cooperative societies. This workshop was organized to strengthen the cooperative sector at the grassroots level. In Uttarakhand, on the lines of the Gujarat model, primary agricultural credit societies and primary dairy cooperative societies are being enabled to access all banking services through the district or state cooperative bank.
Appointment letters handed over to the candidates
In the cooperative workshop, Cooperative Minister Dhan Singh Rawat also handed over appointment letters to 167 candidates selected through IBPS. The selected 167 candidates will join in Haridwar, Dehradun, Tehri, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Almora, Kotdwar and Chamoli districts. These youths have been selected for the posts of class 3 clerk, class 2 junior assistant, junior branch manager as well as senior branch manager.
Cooperative Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said in his address that the state of Uttarakhand is progressing rapidly in the field of cooperation today. Most of the cooperative societies and district cooperative banks of Uttarakhand are in a profitable position today. All the major cooperative institutions of Uttarakhand are in profit.
The Silk Federation has come into a profitable position in the last 7 years. He also said that he gives 10 days every month to cooperatives. Under which now he will himself evaluate the work of cooperatives in all the districts and will take feedback through seminars by directly communicating with the farmers.
At the same time, Cooperative Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that Uttarakhand’s ‘Mukhyamantri Ghasiyari Yojana’ is being praised across the country. The year 2025 is going to be declared as the cooperative year. In such a situation, this is a good time to make Uttarakhand state one of the leading states in the field of cooperatives. He said that multipurpose committees will also be formed at the rural level. In villages where the number is less, committees will be formed at the Gram Sabha level. This work will be completed by March 2025.
