Major reshuffle in Uttarakhand Police Department, 19 officers including 5 IPS officers transferred
After the new DGP of Uttarakhand Deepam Seth took charge, IPS and PPS (Provincial Police Service) officers were transferred on a large scale in the state. According to the order issued by the Uttarakhand government, five IPS and 14 PPS officers have been transferred in the state.
According to the order issued on Wednesday, November 27, IPS Dhirendra Gunjyal has been made Assistant Inspector General of Police Prison. Apart from this, the responsibility of Assistant Inspector General of Police Prison has been taken back from IPS Yashwant Singh. Now IPS Yashwant Singh will only have the responsibility of Superintendent of Police CID.
Apart from this, IPS Amit Srivastava has been removed from SP Uttarkashi and given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police Regional Intelligence. At the same time, IPS Mamta Bohra has been made Superintendent of Police Police Headquarters. Along with this, IPS Sarita Doval has now been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police Uttarkashi.

- Harbansh Singh has been made Additional Superintendent of Police Almora from Additional Superintendent of Police Nainital.
- Jagdish Chandra has been given the responsibility of Additional Superintendent of Police City Nainital along with Additional Superintendent of Police Nainital High Court Security.
- Jai Baluni has been made Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Dehradun. Currently Jai Baluni was looking after the responsibility of Additional Superintendent of Police Kotdwar Pauri Garhwal.
- Shekhar Chandra Suyal has been made Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Haridwar.
- Pankaj Gairola has been made Additional Superintendent of Police City Haridwar.
- Swatantra Kumar Singh has been sent to 31st Battalion PAC Rudrapur.
- Swapan Kishore has been made Deputy Army Commander SDRF.
- Mithilesh Kumar has been made Additional Superintendent of Police Vigilance Dehradun.
- Chandra Mohan Singh has been made Additional Superintendent of Police Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal.
- Manoj Kumar Katyal has been sent to Additional Superintendent of Police PTC Narendra Nagar.
- Uttam Singh Negi has been made Additional Superintendent of Police Udham Singh Nagar.
- Lokjeet Singh has been given the responsibility of Additional Superintendent of Police Crime and Traffic Haridwar.
- Rajan Singh has been sent to the Police Headquarters as Additional Superintendent of Police.
- Chandrashekhar Anthwal has been made Deputy Commander IRB II.
