Postings are not being done on important posts in Uttarakhand, from the secretary to the ADM, no homework could be done

There are many departments in the state which are running without a secretary. Since the retirement of IAS officer Vijay Yadav, these departments have not been able to get any officer on the post of secretary. Actually, IAS officer Vijay Yadav retired in October and with his retirement, no secretary could be appointed in the Sugarcane Sugar Department, Employment and Skill Development Department. Not only this, after the removal of Raza Abbas, who was the ADM of Uttarkashi district, from the district, no officer has been sent to the post of Uttarkashi ADM.

On the other hand, after the removal of ADM Ramsharan in the capital Dehradun, no officer was sent to the post of ADM in his place. The special thing is that officers are also needed on the posts of SDM in many districts including Pithoragarh and Chamoli. But officers have not been appointed here either. Amidst the discussions of transfer of IAS officers in Uttarakhand, the government has also made changes in the responsibilities of some IAS officers.

Under this, the responsibility of general administration and protocol at the government level has been taken away from Deependra Chaudhary and given to Vinod Kumar Suman. Whereas, the responsibility of Secretary Finance has been taken back from Vinod Kumar Suman. Apart from this, this responsibility has been taken back from Sonika, who is looking after the responsibility of Smart City, and now it has been handed over to Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal. However, usually the responsibility of Smart City remains with the Dehradun District Magistrate and hence this change has been made. Similarly, the responsibility of Mela Adhikari has also been taken away from Dhiraj Garbyal and given to Haridwar District Magistrate Karmendra Singh.

District Magistrate of Udham Singh Nagar district Udayraj is also retiring on 30 November. Therefore, the list of transfer of PCS officers including IAS officers can be released on 30 November. During this time, deployment can also be done on various vacant posts by doing homework. The wait of the officers posted in the hilly districts can also end. Actually, many officers have been posted in the hilly districts for a long time, so there can also be a consideration of giving them deployment in the plain districts.
