Uttarakhand: Kedarnath MLA Asha Nautiyal took oath of office and secrecy, listed priorities
Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri today administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected MLA from Kedarnath, Asha Nautiyal, in the Assembly. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, BJP President Mahendra Bhatt, Minister in the government Premchand Aggarwal, besides many MLAs and senior BJP leaders were present.
Ritu Khanduri welcomed Asha Nautiyal in the Assembly after administering the oath. Wished her all the best for the future. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri said Asha Nautiyal has been an old member of the Legislative Assembly. She has better knowledge of legislative work. She said that increasing the representation of women will definitely lead to more talk on women’s rights. On the other hand, Asha Nautiyal has got the blessings of the people of Kedarnath, so she hopes that Asha Nautiyal will raise the people of Kedarnath and the issues of Kedarnath prominently in the Assembly.
Talking exclusively after the oath taking ceremony, Kedarnath MLA Asha Nautiyal expressed her gratitude to the people of Kedarnath. She said that she wants to express her gratitude to the God-like people of Kedarnath Vidhan Sabha. She said that the people of Kedarnath have shown devotion towards her. They have played an important role by voting for her. Now that she has won, it is her responsibility to develop this area.
While talking, Asha Nautiyal said that just before the Kedarnath by-election, the Chief Minister announced schemes worth crores. Now it is my responsibility to implement all those announcements on the ground on time. Referring to all the problems of Kedarnath, she said that gradually she will work to solve every problem. Along with this, she will try to make the next season’s yatra better.
