Big blow to Aam Aadmi Party in Uttarakhand, state vice president resigns, action also taken on Uma Sisodia
Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a major setback before the civic elections. Aam Aadmi Party’s state vice-president Azad Ali has resigned from primary membership. He has sent his resignation to AAP’s state in-charge Barinder Goyal and city in-charge Rohit Mehrolia. He has written in his resignation that he is resigning from Aam Aadmi Party due to personal reasons.
At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party has also taken major action against Azad Ali and AAP state official Uma Sisodia and expelled them for 3 years. Party state executive president S S Kaler, while announcing the expulsion, said that the state leadership of AAP Uttarakhand, on the recommendation of the state in-charge and co-in-charge, has expelled two state officials Uma Sisodia and Azad Ali from the primary membership of AAP for three years due to their irresponsible attitude and continuous inactivity in the party.
He said that even before this, the state leadership had issued a notice to both of them and sought clarification, but both the leaders did not submit any reply to the state office on time. After this, the party has taken a tough decision to expel Uma Sisodia and Azad Ali. During the expulsion, both the leaders cannot use the name, position, letterhead identity card of Uttarakhand. SS Kaler said that at present the party is working to add hundreds of people in the state every day. The organization is definitely moving towards the goal. In such a situation, if anyone is involved in anti-party activities, then strict decisions will be taken against him by the party.
