Ukrainian tanks are spewing fire inside Russia, Putin’s army is helpless in Kursk, could not take back its territory even after two months

On the orders of President Vladimir Putin, the Russian army has launched a powerful campaign against Ukraine in Kursk, western Russia. The aim of this campaign, which was started in October, is to regain control of the Kursk region, which the Ukrainian army took control of in a surprise attack in early August. But the Ukrainian army has not only stood firm against Russia’s massive attack, but has also launched a counter-attack now.

Meanwhile, Russia has damaged several Ukrainian tanks in an attack. At least three Icari tanks of Ukraine and other forces advanced to the southern outskirts of Darino and launched a Russian operation, which brought down German-made 2A6 tanks. After this, former Soviet T-64 or T-72s of the recently reorganized 17th Heavy Mechanized Brigade joined the attack.

Russia attacked with drones

After the advance of Ukrainian tanks, Russia has attacked with drones, in which at least one tank from every brigade was damaged. Its video also surfaced in which the crew was seen coming out of the burning tank. After this, in retaliatory fire, Ukraine’s 80th Assault Brigade shot down at least two Russian BMD combat vehicles.

Ukraine made a move in Darino

Darino is located on the right side of the Russian army, which is maintaining the main thrust of the Russian offensive in Kursk. If Ukraine manages to take control of Darino, it can close the line of counter-attack for Russia. Russian forces are sending serious assault groups one after another along the road through Zeleny Shlyakh, four miles north of Darino. However, it is not necessary to exaggerate the Ukrainian attack yet. All three Ukrainian brigades have advanced only a few thousand feet. But it is important that Ukrainian forces are capable of counter-attacking.
